It recently came to our attention via a good tweet that fake products intimidating the real H2O Mop X5 were surfacing over certain markets. Here at Thane Products we want to point out that a consumer should be mindful of purchasing products from retailers if they are not directly ordering them from us online or from the television. Any retailer carrying our As Seen on TV products are all licensed but when you do purchase the product from a retailer ( depending on the country) you must retain the proof of purchase so that if anything does happen with the product or you do experience a problem that you send us the proof of purchase so we can entitle you to one year of warranty. If you have purchased the H2O MopX5 from the many international websites we have, contact us via Facebook or twitter for a quick reply on which customer service office you should contact, we will provide you the details right away.

I wonder if you could help?
I recently purchased a h2o x5 mop from this website though I am worried it may be a fake. After having viewed several videos that show common problems with the fakes, i felt that mine shared lot of the symptoms. It does not steam like in the tv advert and it leaves the floors extremely wet, whereas the advert maintains floors are left dry. I would be greatful if you could verify that i have a genuine item and advise me of a suitable course of acton.

If you purchased the H2O Mop X5 from Thane Direct then you have an authentic X5 mop. If you are experiencing trouble shooting issues they can be easily resolved by referring to the product manual. It seems I have been duped too. I bought this mop from ‘Wow Deals’ who have now removed their site and are trading under ‘Bargain Dealz’ with the same business address (probably fake too) and an identical website.

Is there anything you are able to do about this? Like get their site taken down etc? Anyway, I hope this helps you stop this person whose name I believe is Mr Priyesh Patel.
I had no idea there were only a few registered sellers of this product. I looked at your website, but the ‘Beware’ page either was not there or did not pop up clearly when I looked. Is there any way you could make it more prominent?…I am sure people look at your site to compare prices.
I’ll just have to clock this one up to experience and kiss goodbye to the £80 I paid.

i haven’t had many issues with it however i dont feel it works as good as on the TV shows.

I took a look at the site you gave me and it does not look like an authentic H2O Mop X5 . I would strongly advise to return the product. Thane Direct does not sell microfibre pads that are attached by string, infact our microfibre clothes are attached by Velcro. I hope you can return it as soon as possible, if you have any more questions please let me know. Thank you .
ebay or paypal wont help me they say that its passed the 45 days return period.

I believe it is a fake one as it is made in PRC and the box have faded photos like photocopied. However, the site is a reliable one with nice comments from users. Maybe even the seller is not aware of your genuine product. Could you please help me to check if it is a real one.

If you purchase a H2O Mop X5 from Thane Direct it also comes with a one year warranty for body and parts replacement. Hi Natalie, where did you purchase it from? If it’s from Thane Direct then yes the mop is authentic. An authentic H2O Mop X5 comes with a one year warranty on parts and replacements.
